How to redeem a Nintendo eShop code

Switch and Switch 2 games from key stores come as a 16-character download code that you redeem in the Nintendo eShop.

1. Open Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu Your console needs to be online.
2. Choose your user, then Redeem Code on the left Some versions call it Enter Code.
3. Enter the 16-character code Use the download code, which usually starts with B, not the control number, which starts with S.
4. Confirm and download The game starts downloading to your console.

Your Nintendo Account's country has to match the code. Codes sold for the UK work on a UK account.
